A'ight, a'ight... so the profile ain't long enough to contain the  volume of info' that is my mini-bio'.  So this was created only as a means to fulfill the purpose that my profile was meant to do. -_-;  Yeah, I don't like blogging... And I think you'll find that the statement I'm about to make below echoes that sentiment throughout its entirety.  Actually, I'll start off my rant here in saying... who the hell cares about a stranger's day-to-day activity, gawd... is the world really so chock-a-block full of glamour-guzzlers and suchlike needy attention scroungers as I'm lead to believe?  I mean really, aren't these things supposed to be diaries?  Aye, a D-I-A-R-Y... y'know, that old-timey pastime where you jot down your daily habits and various other occurrences?  Ya?  And haven't you heard those stories of sibling rivalry and the like, or more particularly when a big sis' goes a rowin' at her l'il bro' for filching her oh-so sacred diary?  Sound like a similar scenario, huh?  Good... then you must know why those sacred script- er scribbles were so important to her in the first place ne'?  Yep, 'cause they were private; they detailed on her most heinous habits and treasured memories.  So whatever happened to that when these bloody blogs started to emerge?  Pfft, fads always end up FUBAR'ing a perfectly apt medium in which to release one's inner turmoil and suchlike.

Oh I know, a lot of people will tell me that's not all that happens in blogs... some of them are potential contributions to our society brimming with bright new ideas for the future... now wait, how many of these blogs would fall under that category now?  How many certified scientists cataloguing their discoveries do we have vs. skulking spotty teens or Johnny-no-life's using these selective forums of sorts?  It's hard to say, but I can say here with confidence that it is not the former...

Yeah, so I've begun this on a sour note...  but really it ain't just the worldly bitterness that I have to show, really... I promise. ^^;

I am a person, though not normally talkative, whose interests span across a wide margin in regards to gaming (specialty RPGs), animé and generally all things Japanese.  I tire of the faceless forum scene, blogging sites such as Livejournal and that kind of jazz *cough* crap *cough* or any such site with userbase that's not been vetted.  As such I've pretty much semi-retired from that field; now my chit-chat is largely exclusive to messenger services, that way I get to choose whom I communicate with.

But don’t let that lengthy drawl (with egotistical connotations now read it back over) leave you off-put; I'm far more lax then I might initially appear and I've been far more successful in establishing long-lasting friendships over messengers than I have in any forum (okay I lie, I had a few friends, but they came and went and I had more than my fair share of enemies, hell I almost got booted several times due to issues with jealousy and over popularity, no really!  I'm serious here, honest!).

Though you may not recognize the name, you may have encountered me in the past in one way, shape or form as I've gone through a myriad of screen names since my 'net debut in '98.

So in closing... talk to me!  You'll be in for some wild times abounding with criss-crossing tangents and suchlike phenomena.  Daymn, at this rate I really ought to have slapped this mini-bio' on a place like MySpace; but as I stated rather clearly earlier I hate those kind of sites - hmm... now when I think of it though, the information I'm enclosing here is much akin to what one might put up on the aforementioed site thus negating my own argument, d'oh. -_-;  Forget I mentioned that...

Oh, and the wall of text thing... that's just something you'll have to get used to, sorry... it comes as part of the package. >>;

In addition... I did have a Hotmail account set up prior to this but... it's long since long since been defunct, as in 3-4 years simply because I was being a ditzy fool at the time and forgot my password AND the answer to my own secret question... superb.  I must've had near 100 friggin’ contacts on that account, ah well can't be helped... water under the bridge as they say.  If by any chance you think you did know me during the brief time I used Hotmail my add' was pokemaster_lugia@hotmail.com (I had a Lugia obsession mm'kay?  Still do actually, and my rabid protectiveness over my silver savior ran rampant over pokemasters.... com I think it was?  Back when it was actually more than just a forum, yeah... almost got kicked out I did, was only telling the truth, to safeguard my beloved dragon-bird's rep' but these twits got their just deserts, the site took a nosedive and went on a hiatus for 2 months straight (or so, I forget) and has failed to recover its popularity ever since - conveniently Serebii.net launched its own set of forums the very same year (or a year after, again I forget.)  I was on there too for a time, 'til my battered old rig' decided to finger the site and for some reason I could never visit the site without crashing out to the fatal error screen. ¬¬;  But now when I look at Serebii's forums... I see it has succumbed to the same fate as the former; with plagues of rowdy raucous radicals polluting the place with their random heehawing around and inane piffle.  Shame that is, really... I liked it in its early days.

Yeah, so I guess you can gather from that hastily inserted blurb that I kinda like Pokémon a wee bit, well... you'd be right in some respects but over time my interest in the subject in general sense has since been diminished (particularly with the release of Diamond and Pearl; the new legendaries they annoy me, simply... the hierarchy has been wrecked no, more like totally obliterated with the introduction of these uninspired abominations and as for Arceus puh-LEASE don't even get me started on that mish-mashed mess, I had enough of a problem trying to find places to assign the crew from R/S.. Arceus does not exist as far as I'm concerned).  Ah, but the specifics still remain; my everlasting fondness for the great guardian, the rightful king of the pocket monsters will never perish, not never.  As soon as I saw that elegant almost luminous figure (a throwback to his mythological counterpart, Ryujin, I'm sure) grace the packaging of Pokémon Silver I knew I was onto something special; how right I was.  I've never really associated him solely to the Pokémon franchise, he somehow escaped those boundaries in my mind's eye and I mean, to quote loosely from 'Revelation Lugia' Ash did query the phantom pokémon as to affirm once and for all whether he was a pokémon or something else hailing from a world apart.  *Sigh.*  I've always wanted to create a fan-site to do him justice and that has never come to be, but maybe some day...  Pokémon X will get the credit he so deserves.

Okay!  Pokémon, as I said... over it, not completely obsessed with it any longer, yep-yep!  Totally!  Ya-huh!  You bet!  Ah who am I kidding... I still like it at least, though not as much as I did some 4-5 years ago thereabouts.  Now, I'm mostly interested in the strategic aspect and if you bring the topic up, please!  I have to ask you to refrain from referring to Smogon.com in any future conversation, why?  'Cause quite frankly, I hate the site's guts... that is not the object itself but rather its boastful denizens plugging away in the murk.  Yep, dun' like their type at all... they and I, clash... like so many other things.

So yeah I just wanted to get the point across that I'm not at all one-dimensional, I've since moved on but it's not like I didn't have a wide area of interest that expands into all kinds of quirky regions to begin with (that sounded so wrong.. but oh well).

*Mumble.*  What a way to end this thing...

Rather than go against my word and devote a new blog entry to what I’m about to include I’ll just amend it to this one. (Hah, you’ll not catch me out!)

Honestly, I don't know the point of these listings but at least they come with a set of purty buttons you can flaunt about. =3  Also it's a quick way to convey exactly how far my interests span across - well, so long as there is a fan list in existence for that particular subject, anyway - rather this deals with my taste in gaming and animé/manga specifically.
